Top Brand Award is an appreciation of the brands that are categorized as a top brand. Top Brand Award is given to brands in certain product categories that meet Top criteria. Top criteria is based on a survey conducted by Frontier Consulting Group.

Top Brand Award is an award presented to brands regarded as "top". The "top" criteria are based on the surveys conducted by Frontier Consulting Group. Top Brand Index is formulated based on 3 variables: Mind Share , Market Share and Commitment Share. The first variable, Mind Share , indicates a brand's strength inside the minds of the consumers of the respective product category.

» TOP BRAND Survey Methodology
Top Brand Survey 2011 was conducted in 6 cities: Bandung, Jakarta, Makassar, Medan, Semarang and Surabaya. The random samples in each city are 400 persons. Boosters are added for each product category considered as premium in order to increase the incidence rate. The total number of random respondents surveyed is 2400, and the total number of booster respondents is 1200.
The criteria of the respondents are male or female between 15 and 65 years old with SES ranging from E (average monthly expenditure of more than Rp. 750,000) to A (average monthly expenditure of more than Rp. 3.5 million). ...Next

» TOP BRAND Index Result Diagnosis
Top Brand Index is measured using 3 parameters: Top of Mind (TOM), Last Usage (LU) and Future Intention (FI). One thing to note about the 3 parameters used in Top Brand Index is its possible application in performing brand position diagnosis.
This is done by comparing the ratio of TOM to LU (TOM/LU) and the ratio of FI to LU (FI/LU). TOM/LU shows the ratio of number of people who place a certain brand in their top of mind to the number of people who actually use the brand. FI/LU shows the ratio of number of people who intend to use the brand in the future to the number of people who actually use the brand.
The values of TOM/LU and FI/LU are subsequently plotted in a Cartesian system where TOM/LU is the x axis and FI/LU is the y axis. The plotted area is divided into 4 parts, with the criteria: TOM/LU and FI/LU is less or more ...Next
